Some of the many forms of copper minerals and their corresponding colors are Cuprite (dark red), Azurite (dark blue), Malachite (dark green), Chrysocolla (light blue), Tenorite (black), and Turquoise (blue green). Copper can be found in native form or as binary compounds with oxides, halides, and sulfides, and other complex compounds and alloys. Copper is widely used in many industries and its many beautiful colorful forms are popular in jewelry making and pigments for paint.
