How did you know we like Roadrunners? My wife and I have had them come to our door for nearly five years now. We never feed them hamburger as such because it can give the chicks rickets, so we add crushed cuttlebone to the hamburger so they still get the calcium. We've had them run upour leg and even onto our shoulder to get fed and they eat out of our hands. The first ones knew we kept the hamburger in our fridge so when they would slip into our house theey would run to the fridge and wait for us to get it out. Now the new ones peck on our door to let us know they're waiting. When we walk they follow us home like little dogs. They are not mean and will not hurt you. I forgot to mention when the chicks are older they bring them to our house to show them to us. Isn't this great? Now you know why we like this photograph so much. We've named them, "ROADIE"
